Visit privacy

In force from 17 October 2026 (previous version: 12 October 2026)

Controller

Statistics without consent

The server records visits: the page address, the entry source (including utm parameters), IP address, country, browser type, screen size, time on page, scroll depth and clicks. Nothing is stored in your browser for this. I do it on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), to know which notes are useful. IP addresses are anonymised after 90 days. You can object by email.

Identifiers — switched off

The site's engine can, with consent, keep a random identifier and a session identifier in your browser — to count return visits and test two versions of a page. Since 17 October 2026 that feature is switched off: there is no consent banner, no identifier is created, and consent clicked earlier is not used. If I ever switch it on, the banner will return and I will ask afresh. The only thing left in the tab's session storage is a marker that the button for the other language version has already pulsed once — it goes when you close the tab. Under heavy traffic I count only a share of visits: the server decides from a hash of the address and the browser computed on the fly and stored nowhere.

Correspondence

Messages sent to my address end up in a Gmail mailbox and I keep them as ordinary correspondence. Extensive material in particular may be analysed with AI tools (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini).

Processors

Cloudflare (hosting, database, mail forwarding), Google (mail), OpenAI, Anthropic and Google (Gemini) (AI tools supporting correspondence).

Rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection, and may complain to the supervisory authority (in Poland: UODO).
